Rights of Passage

WADAS (10.01.10, absentees: 3)
A trek through the frozen fields around Easter Town in the failing light of a winter afternoon. The cold didn't stop an objectionable (lying) cow coming out of her house to tell the hikers that they were trespassing on her land. Since checked with Somerset County Council the footpath clearly passes through the property in question. We'll be back.

Skating on cattle spit.

Dolebury Warren

WADAS (15.11.09, absentees 1)
It's such a long time since we embarked on this walk that the detail is a little hazy. It started with a refreshing drink in the White Swan and ended after a very picturesque stroll in the Autumn sunshine.
A point of procedure has been raised subsequently about the post of Truancy Officer. This is now clarified as being a life appointment.
