Hutton Hike

A high level briefing and co-ordinating meeting was held at the Old Inn, Hutton (10.08.08, absentees: 3). Then the party struck out up the hill contending with stinging nettles and breaking storm clouds. However, the scenery and views were worth the slight discomfort. The route meandered along the top of the ridge, past an isolated house and into woods, then dipped down towards Canada Coombe.

WADAS approached Hutton, through fields from the East this time, passing a nursing home, on a corner in Church Lane where Steve had done some building work a few years back.

Turning right into Orchard Road brought us back to the Old Inn where we noticed that another hiking party were still planning their route some 2 hours after we had left them to set out on our expedition.

A further WADAS de-briefing meeting then ensued.
